Mercure Clermont Ferrand Centre

The location is great, right in the city center. We rated it a 3 instead of a 5 because the bedding was not to our liking; the mattress was very hard, and there was a very unpleasant mattress protector that made noise when moving in bed. Moreover, when you flush the toilet and at the same time someone is in the shower, suddenly you have no cold water!!! Borderline dangerous. Otherwise, the staff, especially at breakfast, is adorable. Very hearty breakfast. Hotel and room very clean.

The hotel is ideally located downtown. The directions sent for parking were very precise and helpful. The breakfast is very complete in a spacious room. The large windows offer a beautiful view of the square. The only downside is that they do not open. I imagine it is a matter of security, but it is a bit unfortunate not to have any opening at all. The staff was extremely attentive, especially in offering a snack to my wife when she was not feeling very well.

I recommend with my eyes closed! Very nice room, spacious, pro team and super friendly!!
