Campanile Clermont Ferrand Thiers

we spent one night here on a layover. The hotel really deserves a total renovation. The room is depressing. No outlets near the headboard and only one nightstand. The bathroom is clean but the grout is black. Not very good for your health. A plus for the restaurant where we dined. It was very decent. The breakfast buffet is very complete. The staff seems a bit overwhelmed by the difficulties of managing the apparently new staff in place, and it shows. Not very pleasant when you are on vacation. I do not recommend it because the value for money is poor. For our return trip, I found a bed and breakfast in a castle for the same price with a table d'hôte at the same rate as well. We now know our future stop between Chamonix and Biscarrosse.

Hotel from another time, very dilapidated but clean, there hasn't been any maintenance or work done for a very long time, it is just well located next to the highway and a Total station with electric charging stations that were not yet operational during our visit

Parking does not close at night, the room is outdated, there are few electrical outlets, the bathroom is outdated, and the plastic curtain around the bathtub raises hygiene concerns. The remote control batteries were surely dead, the stairs to the room had a damaged board in several places, which caused me to get a splinter in my hand. In short, close this hotel for a compliance update and renovations. Decent breakfast Pleasant welcome The restaurant terrace needs to be enhanced and the surroundings cleaned up.
