Hotel Le Biarritz

Hotel ideally located, close to the beach and the city center.

We had a fantastic stay here recently. Location might not be to everyone's liking as its not in the centre but it's tfew minutes walk away from some fantastic beaches. Plus there is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to the centre in a matter of minutes. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and any minor issue we had they obliged. Breakfast was plentiful for us every morning with a wide range of food to choose from. The only downside was the bathroom layout meant when you opened the door because there's a wall behind it it didn't open all the way.

The Ibis Styles Biarritz Plage did not meet our expectations of an Ibis Styles hotel. Our comfort room with large terrace was good. Comfortable, clean and with a wonderful view. However, the breakfast was poorly replenished. We frequently had to ask and wait for food options and crockery. The expected restaurant was closed five nights of our seven nights stay. We did not receive notification of this situation at time of booking or when checking in. The bar and very limited snacks service was poor and unwelcoming. The ground floor and outdoor seating area was badly staffed and a waste of space.
