Hotel Saint James

⭐️ Very disappointed with my experience at Hôtel du Vieux-Port. I had to cancel my reservation for May 7 due to significant health reasons beyond my control, with supporting documents provided. Despite my medical situation, no understanding or commercial solution was offered to me. I find this regrettable and very inhumane in the face of such a delicate situation. A minimum of empathy and flexibility would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this establishment given the lack of consideration shown to clients facing unexpected health issues.

I am not young and my eyesight is not good and by mistake booked for June not July (5 months in advance). 5 minutes later my wife noticed the mistake so I tried to change the dates. Unfortunately the dates for July were not available so I sent a message to the hotel explaining what had happened and if they could waive any cancellation fee. They ignored my message and when i came to cancel (still 5 months in advance) they charged me the full cancellation fee. This hotel may or may not be nice but the staff are not.

Located right in the middle ! It’s great everything within staggering distance, very clean is located above a restaurant. Evenings can be noisy but that’s part of its charm very good hotel prices are average as well for the area,breakfast can be arrange at the restaurant below and comes with a discount for hotel guest
