Mercure Thalassa Regina And Du Golf

We had a very pleasant experience at Regina Experimental. We brought our dog that was well taken care of. Nice rooms and great products in the bathroom. The location is very good with a short walk into the center or to the stairs leading down to the beach. We never used the pool but that area looked very nice. My warmest recommendations.

We first visited the famous Biarritz (Coco Chanel etc.) in the French Basque Country. The hotel is a little higher above the center we had booked through a platform, which is why it probably took some mails to realize the wish with the location of our room. Quiet and overlooking the golf course on the 3rd floor. Stock we liked then, even if we would have preferred a bath instead of the (very good) shower. The equipment with bonds to maritime as well as Basque decorations (hat, bag in the colors to buy) we found fitting, only the double bed seemed a bit narrow to us. We particularly liked the beautiful bathroom with deep sinks, partly because we find the modern bowls on top impossible. We did not have breakfast because we wanted to enjoy the different Basque specialties in the great market hall and the shops. It made us feel like we were in the country of slack; in San Sebastian and Bibao we had previously raved as much - Basque way of life in both countries. We missed the shuttle bus to the center, also because the stops are hard to find, but 15 to 20 minutes walk along pretty houses went well; also the way to the lighthouse is recommended. That we then experienced strong winds with high swells, suited the Bay of Biscay. The young people at the reception were as friendly and helpful as the cleaning team. We liked Biarritz.
