Le Relais des Chartreuses

Beautiful stopover 5-10 minutes from the border just off the A9 so very convenient. Beautiful rooms (we were in room 6). Room had a double shower, fantastic views and a terrace. Very comfortable bed. Swimming pool was lovely with high quality sunbeds. Decor throughout is first class. Vincent the host was charming. He cooked a fantastic evening meal with a choice of starter and dessert. Good choice of breakfasts. We opted for the continental which was very nice. We would certainly recommend this hotel. Tip : do take mosquito spray as you are in the countryside.

Pleasant stay, very quiet and relaxing location. We were very, very well welcomed by our host who prepared a delicious dinner for us, and we were able to enjoy the pool in the shade of the pine forest Stay recommended for anyone wanting to rest Thank you for this warm welcome

Nothing to say about the place. Charming. Everything could have been in harmony. Reservation for 4 nights Breakfasts taken on site A very pleasant dinner taken on site Of the 15 rooms, only 4 at most were occupied during our stay. The heatwave forced one of us to shorten their stay by one night to return and care for a fragile relative in difficulty. The host applied the strict "non-refundable" conditions. Noted, as they could have sold these rooms. Noted... Except that this understandable attitude when the hotel is full no longer holds when it is three-quarters empty. The letter and the spirit. It is very unfortunate. Needing to regularly travel to the region, I am in search of an establishment with a touch of humanity, far from the "everything that is taken is no longer available" mentality or how not to capitalize on hospitality and the potential return of its clients. Regrettably forgettable experience.
