We had to change rooms a total of three times. The first two rooms were heavily soiled and smelled unpleasant. We have never experienced anything like this. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel at all. Never again!

I stayed in this hotel during the Presidential One Health Summit. With Macron sharing the same compound, security was supposed to be at its strictest.
However, it is to my utter surprise that when I returned to my room one afternoon, my room window was left wide open and dirty towels were found on the chair (See photos). That is presumably an absent-minded housekeeper left my room without cleaning up everything behind them.
I asked the reception to clear the towels before dinner, but after dinner the same dirty towel was still in my room.
It was not only when I called reception again to complain that someone was sent to pick the towel up.
As a business hotel under IHG management, it is appalling to leave the windows of guests' rooms open like that- not only would the room be vulnerable to thieves, it might also let it bugs and flies during the warmer months. It is even more unacceptable that after reporting the incident, no one went to my room to fix it.

I booked 12 nights at this location as a Diamond Elite IHG Member. I arrived at 8pm and was given a standard room where the carpet was stained with dirty footprints and the room was very warm. I turned on the air conditioning which blew hot air. When I asked for an upgraded room, or just a clean one, I was told that I'd have to speak with the manager the next morning.
I went to dinner at the Antipasto restaurant for genuinely poor quality food, and returned to find thousands of small flies in my room because I opened the screenless window to cool the room. I brought this to the attention of a new night shift staff member who moved me to a tiny room on the top floor next to the spa renovation activity. I checked out the next morning and moved to the Intercontinental Hotel Dieu in Lyon.
My Diamond Elite status was not recognized at all. The bathrooms have no amenities, the hotel is dated and in need of a renovation. They gym facilities are in a closet sized location that doesn't have enough floor space to stretch. It has ancient plate-weights, poor lighting and no ventilation.
I really hate writing bad reviews. I normally can find something redeeming about even the bad locations. Other than the staff who were generally pleasant and tried to be helpful, there is nothing good about this hotel. Unless you're an attendee at the convention center next door, it's in a bad location 20 minutes from the old town.
I cut my 12 night stay down to 1 night and fled because of the dirty carpet and the bug infestation.
