Campanile Lyon- Tassin

I was looking for a place for a motorcycle stopover, west of Lyon following a private visit. I booked because the recent reviews were all good or almost all good. But indeed, I arrived not too late because the parking spaces, which cannot be reserved, are quite limited and shared with the hotel across the street; that is not much for so many rooms. There was no question of leaving my motorcycle outside in this area. With that worry out of the way, once my motorcycle was secure, I will summarize quite quickly: The exterior and the environment (in my eyes) are not very attractive, but the hotel itself, on the other hand, is absolutely pleasant. The room was completely up to expectations, clean, quiet despite the fairly regular traffic, perfect bedding, nothing to complain about. Despite it being the "off-season" for vacations, there were many people (companies/seminars), but that was never a problem at any point. The welcome was very pleasant, the intern/beginner was a bit lost but well-assisted, and in any case, I had the time :-) . Besides, who hasn't been a beginner somewhere one day? It is important to encourage them! The restaurant offers just the right amount of choice, the variety of the buffet was very good and wide (with its beginner also just as attentive to doing their best :-) ), in short, the price was perfectly balanced. The only "surprise" was that we had to pay for the restaurant upon leaving (uncommon) instead of adding it to the room bill, but it is not a problem at all, just a different management style. A totally positive assessment because the attention of ALL the staff was truly pleasant and that is what makes the difference.

I passed, with my friends, And as part of the association a pleasant stay. Nothing beats Jerome’s distribution when serving dishes. O what was our surprise when we discovered the well-equipped, modern and soundproofed rooms. But above all, the only reason to come to this hotel is Jerome, the waiter. And finally, the aperitifs were exquisite, well served, which delighted us. Thank you, J.
