La Demeure De Laclais

Really lovely little hotel in a stunning location -- right opposite the cathedral, and seconds away from the beautiful old town. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and our lovely hostess Brigitte was welcoming and helpful. There's no restaurant, but there are loads of places to go nearby, and breakfast in the sunny garden was lovely. We only had a short stay, but I hope to go back for longer next time.

The hotel cancelled because of „overbooking“ 3 weeks after booking. It was already paid for and affirmed by the hotel. Very unreliable, never again.

Magnificent house in the old town of Le Mans , in the heart of the historic district facing the magnificent cathedral. Absolutely charming hostess, we were in the Berangere suite, with terrace overlooking the city. Excellent breakfast (homemade yogurt and homemade jam). Lovely garden in the summer.
