We booked from July 1st to July 4th to celebrate my wife's retirement, and upon arrival, we asked the assistant manager to change and take the Jacuzzi suite for an extra charge; she and her team reacted quickly and our wish was granted. We would like to thank the entire staff of the establishment for being present during our stay. And a big thank you to Thierry, the one who was able to organize our breakfasts.

We are extremely disappointed with our half-day spent at the Alephia Marina hotel in Aix-les-Bains. Upon our arrival, we discovered that significant construction work was underway, both outside and inside the establishment. At no time were we informed of this situation during our reservation. As a result: complicated access, an inability to park properly, and a stay in an environment far from the expected experience. Lunch at the restaurant was also a major disappointment. The quality of the dishes, as well as the service, was absolutely not up to the standard advertised by the establishment. Another very regrettable point: the bar was without staff, making it impossible to place any orders during part of our stay. Finally, no information had been communicated to us prior to our visit regarding the access restrictions to the spa, particularly the prohibition for children to access the whirlpool. This essential information should have been specified in advance to avoid disappointment and to organize our visit accordingly. In light of all these malfunctions, we absolutely do not understand how this establishment can display a 4-star classification. Between the lack of transparency, the ongoing construction that spoils the decor, insufficient service, and services below expectations, this distinction does not seem justified at all. The only positive point of this day was a waiter at the restaurant, particularly friendly, professional, and smiling. Unfortunately, this is not enough to compensate for all the disappointments encountered. A disappointing experience from start to finish, which we will not repeat.

This is not the first time I have come to this hotel. The location is perfect. Very pleasant hotel. Very friendly staff The spa is very nice I recommend
