Smack in the centre of Aix-les-Bains, a 10mn walk from the railway station, next to the Baths, this two-star hotel meets all conditions for having a pleasant stay: clean, spacious and high-ceilinged rooms; bathrooms with tub; comfortable lounge; a reasonably priced restaurant; breakfast buffet; nice, shaded garden; considerate, helpful staff. A minor inconvenience: access to wifi a bit erratic depending on rooms.

Very old outdated hotel. Not hotels fault but ever so noisy outside groups of guys drunk shouting. Really needs updating badly. Bath so old it looks dirty. Beds very basic. Windows and frames falling apart as are shutters. Town itself very charming.

spent only one night in Aix-les-Bains. the room wasn't very clean, the bed not so comfortable and the whole experience not so good. I can't see a reason to spend more than half a day in Aix-les-Bains before going south to provence or north to annecy and the Alpes.
