We made a wonderful discovery with this hotel, managed masterfully by an entire family, with a warm atmosphere, incomparable attentiveness, advice in abundance, and in fact where everything is perfect!👍 We only spent four nights in this hotel, on a half-board basis, but we left happy, relaxed, serene, and a little sad to leave this wonderful place, where the rooms are quiet, pleasant, with a large walk-in shower, the hearty breakfasts, with an exceptional choice of fresh and local products to make you want to eat everything, fruits and dried and fresh cheeses, homemade yogurts, a delight, 🤪seed breads that you can toast or not, exquisite little pastries😋😛and even for the gluttons, diots with potatoes, a Savoyard specialty 🤗 The evening meal is just like the breakfast, hearty, healthy products, absolutely not greasy at all, a divine tartiflette, without swimming in oil, exquisite desserts, all served with humor, joy, and professionalism by Gaëtan, the son of the super cook Edwige. We congratulate and warmly thank this whole family, pleasant and devoted, even the grandmother who gives a big helping hand in the laundry room at 83 years old🙏👏 We want to come back, that’s for sure: this house has a beautiful soul and we are enjoying it to the fullest.🤗 See you soon Nadine and René GENTY from Chambéry Savoie

From the moment of booking, I was surprised to have to add a significant sum even though our voucher was already of a substantial value in order to benefit from the night, breakfast, dinner for two, and access to the spa. Unfortunately, the unpleasant surprises did not stop there. At the end of the meal, we had to pay a supplement of €94. The prices therefore seemed to us largely excessive in relation to the services offered. In the end, this represents a very high cost for a single night in this establishment. On the other hand, I would like to emphasize that the staff is a real strong point of the establishment. Before our arrival, all the information was communicated to us clearly. On-site, the team was very welcoming, smiling, attentive, and warm. There is a very pleasant family atmosphere. Regarding the room, we were disappointed for a 4-star hotel. The walls had many small holes and paint touch-ups were missing. A pane of the closet was broken and the bathroom ceiling had traces of old leaks that had clearly not been renovated. The bed was made up of two mattresses pushed together on a large box spring, which was not very comfortable since they constantly separated as soon as one moved. The arrival and departure times also seemed poorly suited to us. Arrival is scheduled from 5 p.m. and departure at 10 a.m., otherwise you have to pay a supplement. When you book a package with spa access, it ultimately leaves very little time to enjoy it, especially since it closes around 9 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. Furthermore, the spa is very small, with limited capacity. Fortunately, during our stay, there were very few people, but we can easily imagine the difficulties when the hotel is full. The evening meal unfortunately confirmed our disappointment. We had ordered a fondue for two, but it is the first time that we did not enjoy this dish. The taste of the wine was much too strong and completely overpowered the cheese. We did not even finish it. Furthermore, I found a gnat in the fondue. At the time, I said nothing because I simply wanted the meal to end. As for the dessert, presented as a blueberry clafoutis, it looked more like a cake than a real clafoutis. On the other hand, the breakfast was excellent. We particularly appreciated the quality of the local products offered, which provided real added value and constituted one of the best moments of our stay. In the end, despite impeccable and very friendly staff as well as an excellent breakfast, the value for money did not convince us. Between the numerous extra charges, the condition of the room, the inflexible hours, and the disappointing quality of the meal, this experience does not, in our opinion, correspond to the standard expected of a 4-star hotel.

- Surprisingly varied gourmet cuisine. Very nicely prepared. Don't expect classic fries with stew. - Very attentive, helpful, friendly staff, family atmosphere, Edviche is like a mom to guests - Premium room has a good, wide bed with panoramic views, see photo. Good shower. - Breakfast = extensive buffet with local fresh produce - Lovely spa = hammam and sauna and plunge pool - Drinks are not included and pricey (the wine is therefore top notch)
