LAGRANGE Prestige Les Chalets Edelweiss - La Plagne

Horrific experience with unfriendly staff, broken facilities, filth everywhere, broken TV, blocked sinks, broken doors. The place should be condemned. The location is great, which is why we decided to stay there, but everything about the place is awful. Not enough seating in the locker rooms, the swimming pool is freezing, you have to book and pay for the the sauna, which then doesn’t work. The reception is open for a couple of hours after the lifts open and just before they close. The rooms were a decent size but the beds are uncomfortable, you have to make your own beds (our linen was left in a sack outside our apartment), chairs weee uncomfortable to sit on. We had to clean the place from top to bottom on arrival - it was dirty, dusty and smelt bad. The hoover didn’t work properly either. All our family got sick while we were there and my son threw up in the apartment. We did everything we could to clean and sanitise the place and left it in good order. Despite this the disgusting, owners charged us a £192 cleaning fee. We have complained and taken it up with them - they then provided falsified pictures to our credit card company to back up their claim. Cleaning fee advertised as £65 so this is absolutely unjustifiable. Unless you want to be disappointed, sick, ripped off and let down. Don’t stay at this filthy excuse for a facility.

The reception staff is not pleasant. When we arrived, with the car park open, we parked the car directly (set up beforehand), and explaining this to the lady at the front desk, she took us from above by lecturing us. As for the accommodation itself, at the top, as well as the location, at the foot of the chairlift and next to the stop to take the shuttle.

not worthy of a 4 star. rather expensive for benefits. hours of reception are too restricted the cold pool is bcp too small no product on arrival liquid dishes soap shampoo.... cancellation of the deposit is not cancelled more than 1 week for stay
