We had a lovely week staying at Le Savoire. The location was great, only a 3 minute walk to the lifts and right next door to a well stocked supermarket. The main shops and restaurants were also all with a minute or twos walk.
The hotel staff were all really friendly and welcoming.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was a buffet with a special you could order each morning and dinners were also good.
The spa area had good facilities and the treatments were really reasonable.
Would definitely stay again.

As a long-time Neilson Beachclub fan with twenty or so visits to their summer holidays, I’m not sure I’ll be returning for another winter with them.
The Greek and British staff hotel staff were universally excellent, and it was a fun reunion meeting up with familiar faces from previous summers. The hotel manager, however, was less impressive — not particularly personable and reacting sulkily even to minor criticism, more of which later.
Dinner was absolutely outstanding, and breakfasts were good, though I don’t understand why the delicious bacon was only available every other day. Oddly, the coffee was the worst I have ever experienced — and I’ve drunk what the British Army provides. Hot water for tea was only available from the coffee machines, one out of two of which seemed frequently out of order. I used the hotel’s comment form to suggest that a hot-water urn might be provided for tea, as they have in Greece. The manager’s response was a text message demanding that I present myself at reception to explain my criticism, as they already had adequate water.
The addition of free drinks at dinner— a generous selection of wine, Stella, Bacardi, Jameson, etc. — seemed like a good idea when we first heard about it. However, it soon became apparent that the modest drinkers were effectively subsidising groups of middle-aged men who were trying to re-create their university days.
Tea was pleasant enough, though the manager’s dog stealing my flapjack from the table one day was rather out of order. Both the restaurant and bar (the venue for tea) are quite small; we were told the hotel was at 65% capacity, and I struggle to see how they would cope if fully booked.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, though more than one free socket for chargers would have been useful. Despite being on an upper floor, noise from the street and a neighbouring bar made sleep difficult until around 2:30 a.m. The manager’s response was that we could be put in a back room on our next visit.
We tried the 'Neilson Mountain Expert' sessions, and it quickly became apparent that these should be discounted as a feature for anyone who can ski at a fair level. Although Neilson made it clear that some sessions are aimed at “confident, parallel skiers” and would cover red runs, there seems to be no way to prevent less experienced skiers from joining. As a result, what is billed as a three-hour tour of the resort becomes about an hour of skiing and the rest spent waiting for one or two participants whose definitions of “confident” and “parallel” differ considerably from the norm. The ski instructor who led one of these sessions even asked that this point be raised in feedback, as he had found it to be a constant issue over the years and had raised it with Neilson himself to no effect.
The transfer back to the airport was poorly organised. We were sent outside to catch a public bus to an out-of-town coach park; most guests, I think, expected a chartered shuttle bus and were not dressed for standing around at a bus stop. On arrival at the coach park, we were left waiting again for the airport coach to arrive. Luckily, the weather was relatively benign. Finally, our luggage was loaded onto a different coach from the one we were travelling on, necessitating another wait upon arrival at the airport

Wow! Absolutely loved this place. The staff were amazing. So polite, friendly, couldn't fault any of them. The hotel is clean and looks lovely. The boot room is clean and easy to use. The food is just fantastic. Would come back with no hesitation.
