3rd trip to Valmorel.. lovely village atmosphere.. no queues at the lifts except 9.30 when the lessons start and thats only for a few minutes. Quiet slopes ( we travel before British and French half term starts)., no banging music from the lunchtime slope restaurants or hoards of people. Apartments are not luxury but functional and clean with everything you need and this is reflected in the price. Based in various locations close to slopes so check first as some can be ski in/ out. We emailed beforehand to see which block we were allocated in so we could book the nearest car park. Lovely little resort with a couple of fab restaurants... recommend Le Petit Prince . Excellent instructors in ESF... with good english. ..and it was great this year to have the same people from Denmark in my class that I met last year! Valmorel is the kind of little resort that you want to go back to !

Parking in resort is very difficult with no lift in apartment unloading the car was hard work. Bathrooms in apartment could do with an update but functional and clean - as was whole apartment, which was large , spacious with plenty of storage. Our block was well positioned but they are spread over a very large area so others may involve more walking. We had a very good holiday

Where do I begin, I stayed here in January 2014 with my sister and friend. It is advertised as a four star accommodation with Crystal Ski holidays, unfortunately it is at best two star. The entrance door opens directly into the bunk bed area with wardrobe. The bathroom is quite large but unfortunately the bath is a tub, the overhead shower has no shower rail. The sittingroom/kitchen also doubles as a bedroom. The sofa beds are so hard and narrow we had to swap the mattress from the bunk beds to the sofas to get a nights sleep. The only good thing I can say about this place is its location, we did ski into it and it is conveniently located to the village.
