Disney's Newport Bay Club

We absolutely love disneyland Paris as it's an amazing place to take our daughter (now 5 years old). Adventure world has added so much more than just a couple of extra rides. It's beautiful with great food and drink options and will just get better as more is added. We will be back and I'm really looking forward to what will be built inbetween the Lion King and Frozen lands. Only thing it needs is more shade. We stayed at Newport Bay for the first time and I was again really happy with everything. I am writing this review just to make two comments. One is specific to our stay. We were in room 4210 and found a utility cupboard outside our room was making a loud noise that would last about 5 seconds every 30 minutes or so. First night this woke us up a number of times so we were really tired second day. We had a desk fan in the car so put that on from the second night and it helped cover some of the noise during the night. Something to consider for future guests as we would have requested a room change had the fan noise not helped. My other point is just about the merch at DLP. It is very far behind Disneyworld in scale, choice and scope. There is a lot less marvel, star wars and pixar options but maybe this is by choice. #DisneylandParis

Located just ~10 minutes walk from the main avenue and the parks, the hotel is very nice and well decorated. The reception are really nice and helpful, especially Alfredo that welcomed us and explained everything we need to know about our coming stay. There are long queues everywhere so you need patience, even to get your luggage from the storage room took more then 20 minutes. The atmosphere inside is like living in a Disney castle and there are figures to take pictures with the kids in the lobby. Concierge services are really helpful with maps and instructions. The rooms are nice and spacious but water pressure in the shower is poor. I recommend taking a room on the first floor for easy and faster access. They also offer a shuttle bus to the parks from the main entrance but bear in mind that you'll have to go through a security check every time you return to the hotel with the shuttle.

We’ve booked (and payed for) the Newport Bay hotel for tonight, 23-24th oh July. When we arrived ca.17.00 their room assignment system didn’t work, so we had to wait till the reception was able to figure out what to do. I came twice to the reception enquiring whether the system is back in order- and one elderly receptionist named Ghislaine was incredibly rude to me (twice!) , aggressively requiring to stand a queue once again just to ask whether it makes sense to queue. I believe this level of unprofessional behavior doesn’t stand with the 4 star hotel.
