Paxton Resort Spa

The resort is impressive and extremely well-equipped for a pleasant stay.

We stayed one night at the Paxton Hotel, and our experience was catastrophic. After calling in advance to confirm an early arrival following a 5-hour drive, we were received in a contemptuous and disdainful manner by the receptionist (Amadou). Not only was our request denied, but we were treated with condescension. No gesture of courtesy (not even a glass of water during a heatwave) or any solution for rest was offered to us. The lack of consideration from the reception staff had dramatic consequences: forced to wait 6 to 7 hours in a lounge of questionable cleanliness before accessing the spa, we were unable to shelter our pet. Unfortunately, our bird died of heat in the car due to this endless and unjustified wait. To add to this grim picture, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, and the breakfast severely lacked variety. While the rest of the staff was kind, the damage was done. Paying €200 a night for such a level of service and such a lack of empathy is unacceptable. We are requesting financial compensation commensurate with the harm suffered. This stay was the first, and it will definitely be the last.

Very nice room with good amenities, perhaps lacking a bit of electrical outlets in the room.
