Golden Tulip Marne La Vallee

Very average Mercure, parking not designed for large vehicles. The positive point is the breakfast, which remains decent. I am used to Mercure hotels, but I find this one uninteresting.

Fortunately, I booked for 1 night! It was 42 degrees..... No air conditioning in the rooms...!

We booked this hotel for three nights. A lot of positives: # Very friendly staff and clean hotel # Parking in the parking garage is free and secure, as access is only possible with a code # The train station is practically on the other side of the street, two stations later you are at Disneyland # Breakfast has a good selection and is delicious # Some renovations are already underway, which is good and also necessary, as it is somewhat worn out. But still very clean, which is more important than being modern. # Supermarket on the other side of the street, pizzeria, Asian restaurant, and bakery also 👍 Not so nice: # huge construction site in front of the hotel, the area is being renovated and will definitely look great afterwards. But now it was a huge construction site. However, without much noise; work starts at 6:30 AM, which was fine for us. # the area is still okay, but the space to the train station was well visited by people who were either intoxicated or otherwise not quite themselves... In the evenings, we did not feel very comfortable there, but there are plenty of tourists around, which makes it a bit more bearable. The supermarket across the street was completely sealed off in the checkout area....
