Grand Hotel Orleans

The rooms are well designed as the toilet is separate from the bathroom. The breakfast buffet for 14 Euro is well worth the price. The staff is very helpful. This is not a crowded city with tourists so it is a very relaxing tour for our family.

We have a number of criteria when choosing a hotel. Large bed, AC, swimming pool, parking, kettle. Ideally fridge and safe. We knew this hotel didn't have the latter 2 but it should have had the rest. However the pool was not yet open and the AC seemed to be absent, unfortunate as the room was very hot even with the window fully open. The room was basic and the bathroom tiny. Two bulbs were not working when we arrived, yes they were replaced but people should check these things. However the bed was comfy and there was good hot water. Parking outside was easy. We liked the breakfast and being able to eat outside on the terrace. The hotel is 10 minutes from Albi centre, an easy walk with pharmacy and supermarket nearer than that so it's a good base. Staff were friendly. We didn't try the restaurant as it was closed on Sunday so we went to eat in town.
