Egg Hotel Goussainville

i just checked in here because i have to be in the airport the next day at 7am . i was amazed on how cheap the hotel was and honestly i disregard the bad reviews. i thought they were just over reacting however when i experienced it i really pitty myself. :-( just imagine for 2 hours there is no electricity. the hotel smell was bad, the washroom is awful as in awful the toiletbowl is getting out of place! literally moving the shower area have molds and fungi, i cant take it so decided not to take a bath. uggghhh (nightmare)!!!! you can hear all the noise, there is a coffee machine but no capsule, no complementary water or toiletries, there is a huge tv but no remote control.:-( in a lighter note the staffs were all friendly. most especially the lady unfortunately i dont know her name anyway she was very helpful and pleasant. she cant speak proper english but she tried her very best!! 5 star for her 0 star for the hotel!!!!

Book this hotel only if you really don't have any choices. Yes, it's cheap but not worth of money. A taxi to the airport may cost you 50 euros - probably its trap for tourists so be careful before asking to call a taxi at the reception because on the way to the hotel we paid only 30€. Staff is nice. Free wifi was good. Rooms are in good condition except the bathrooms (sinks and showers are just terrible). Room has a strange smell of chemicals (probably cleaning products) the smell was really intense and we even started feeling notious. We paid 5€ per person extra for the breakfast. That was a mistake.... I don't even want to talk about it. McDonalds is nearby if you know what I mean. Neighbourhood is not very friendly. We saw a really violent street fight of the locals just in front of the hotel. (+) cheap. Free wifi. Friendly staff. Lidl and Mc nearby. (-) No shuttle bus. Unfriendly neighbourhood. Poor toiletries. Breakfast is a No No. Strange smells.

I am very frugal with money and I can tolerate a lot but I could not tolerate this hotel. It is filthy. Bathrooms are torn up. All rooms stink. We tried three or four different rooms and they were all in deplorable state. They all had a stingy smell mixed with smoke and marijuana. All bathroom fixtures were dirty, chipped, burned. My wife and I stayed for a few hours and then decided to leave to another hotel. I had read the reviews but I have a thick skin. However, this hotel is not one that normal people can tolerate. Use my advice, please stay away. I was glad that made the decision to leave and not stay, although I lost my money. Pitiful building.
