We had a good experience there about ten years ago — great location, friendly staff— so we decided to go there again. Sadly, the place has deteriorated— literally. The hallway carpets look as if they haven’t been cleaned since our last visit, and our supposedly upgraded room was small and sterile. In addition, the nearby restaurants on Rue Cler have apparently changed ownership, and their food is disappointingly touristic. To be fair, the hotel’s breakfast included excellent croissants. Overall disappointing, but the concierges were friendly and helpful.

Excellent welcome from Mathieu, who took great care of us from start to finish. We loved our stay in this hotel, which is particularly well located with all the shops nearby. The room was comfortable and quiet; we will return!
