Best Western Bretagne Montparnasse

I had a bright corner room (with geraniums on the windowsill - charming), air-conditioned, very clean, apparently recently renovated. Small, clean hotel with a rather pleasant atmosphere.

How this hotel could receive 4 stars remains a mystery. Our room was on the 5th floor under the roof; it was so small that one could hardly move. On that day, the elevator was out of order, so we had to climb up a dark, narrow staircase with a spiral staircase. The gentleman from the reception kindly carried our luggage but seemed unfazed by the dirty black carpet, the bags of dirty laundry, and other vacuum cleaners. One could hardly imagine what would happen in an emergency. Only the freshly renovated bathroom and the location can be rated positively. Regarding the location, a hotel with a very good placement for visiting the capital while maximizing public transport. The establishment is located in a quiet neighborhood offering pleasant dining opportunities nearby. The reception staff is extremely professional and makes things easy (personalized advice, tips...) the welcome gestures are appreciated, and sustainability seems to be well integrated into the choices offered. The breakfasts are really quite satisfactory and offer a nice variety of options, and what’s more, they are very affordable in comparison. Guaranteed relaxation and a cozy atmosphere.
