France Louvre Hotel

Decrepit room, disastrous bedding, and dangerous and totally obsolete electricity. To top it all off, the staff was unfriendly.

NO AC- one fan- I asked for another and was lied to by an employee- got one later- narrow staircase in case of fire, it’s hopeless.

This “hotel” isn’t anything more than a crappy motel. The pictures on the website are not at all accurate to the size or state of the rooms, the air conditioning was turned off years ago, and the front desk is no help at all. The fact that a hotel in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, in the year 2026, doesn’t have air conditioning is obscene, let alone the fact that never once is that fact mentioned until you get up to the room and see the “broken” unit. ~€700, non-refundable, for three nights in a shoebox and we checked out after night 1. Would give 0 stars if I could.
