Le Notre Dame

Wish we had researched a bit more. This hotel is in an extremely busy part of the city making it a bit dirty OUTSIDE of the hotel and very noisy inside. The hotel was small and a bit stuffy. People were friendly. AC didn’t work great. Just not as upscale as we were used to.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights mid May. The location can’t be beat! Notre Dame directly across the street with a gorgeous view of the Seine as well. Plenty of dining options nearby to walk to. We had the breakfast 2 of the mornings. Fresh croissants, pastries, juice and coffee. Delicious! It was honestly the easiest option for a quick bite then out the door. We ate one morning at the Crepe restaurant next door. It was good as well but a bit pricey. The metro stop was just a few steps out the front door. There were others just a block away. The only complaint we had was the noisy street. Nothing the hotel can do about that. We just used our white noise app and it was doable. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at the end of March. I had requested a two-bed room and we lucked out with a 5th floor room with a spectacular view of Notre Dame. The room was plenty big for Paris and much larger than the river cruise cabins we had just spent time in. We used the stairs to come down and often the elevator to come down. The breakfast room has an impressive view and really makes you feel like you are in a private club in the heart of Paris. In this case location is everything. Breakfast was good coffee, juice, some fruit/yogurt cups and a great selection of breads and pastries. We made in room coffee with instant packets and bought a good selection at one of the many groceries nearby.
