My family and I loved our stay at the Hotel Residence Henri IV. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping us to secure a private car to and from the airport and making sure we were taken care. The rooms were also spacious and comfortable - each room has a kitchenette, which we like for quick meals/snacks, as well as air conditioning (which was needed on several hot days). We also liked that the hotel is small and quiet - it is tucked away on a little side street and it doesn’t feel like a ton of people are coming and going. The best part is the location - it is right in the Latin Quarter with easy access to three metro stops, lots of shops and restaurants, and is within walking distance of Notre Dame. The immediate area around the hotel isn’t overrun by crowds. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice, comfortable, quiet place to stay with a good neighborhood feel.

Hötel Résidence Henri IV is a very nice hotel. Perfect location, incredibly nice interior and decor with references the French philosopher Montaigne. Added to this is excellent service

Incredibly charming hotel with very friendly faces. Our family of four stayed here for four nights during a longer trip through Europe, and this was one of our favorite hotels. They've done a fantastic job of preserving the original character of the building while modernizing the things you'd expect, like the bathrooms. Just adjust your expectations of what a modern hotel is like—you'll still receive a physical, old-style key, and they ask that you leave it at the front desk whenever you head out. Don't worry, though—someone is at the front desk 24/7. The spiral staircase can be a bit dizzying, but it also makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. It adds to the experience and really gives you the sense that you're staying in a centuries-old building rather than just another hotel. If the stairs aren't your thing, there's also a tiny elevator available.
