Residence PV Village Club Les Issambres

Wonderful location, great view from property area. Wonderful swimming-pools. Rooms are somewhat shabby (was built some 20 years ago), would need some painting and renovation. Communication with property is cumbersome (primarily phone) but can be done. Sea-view is at an extra price and beautiful. But some rooms sold with sea-view do not have full sea-view. Some buildings and rooms are more shabby, some rooms are dark and stinking like mould. Others are very nice. Location within property is decisive from the aspect of experience. The bed is very small and short. Good value for money if lucky with the room allocation. (Staff is helpful in that once you are there) Sea-view/pool-view option would be a good feature at booking (currently missing).

This is not the first time we receive an extremely dirty apartment chez Pierre et vacances, but by far this time was the worst. Apparently it was OK, but as soon as we had to use the toilet, or moved something, we could constate the lack of care in terms of hygiene all over the place. Clearly, no one took care of the cleaning this place after the last stay.

Although the receptionist of the holiday resort was rather helpful, the subsequent experience of the room/house was poor. The rooms were not clean, the sheets and bed linen had to be refreshed by ourselves, the rooms were small, there was no airco though temperatures reached 35' during the night, the Wifi was really terrible and certainly not presentable for the average 2017 tourist and there were many ants. The shop owner of the Alimentation was terrific and very service minded. The view on the Côte d'Azur from our balcony was excellent as well. The whole resort needs however a 2017 remake as it has a 80'ties holiday park profile.
