Residence Villa Romana

I come here on vacation every year, it is always just as good, the activity leaders are great, the food is very good, another nice experience like every year.

We stayed for a week in an apartment with a kitchen/living room space and separate bedroom. We had a balcony as well. It was a great holiday. The accommodation is very clean and well equipped. The kitchen is small but has everything you would need. All the cutlery, plates, glasses and cooking utensils are all very clean. The balcony had a nice table and chairs and a drying rack for your clothes and towels. The pool on the roof is nice and clean and has a good view over Fréjus. The location is excellent as it is close to the beach and the port in Fréjus. There is a bakery nearby for buying your daily bread. There is also a supermarket right behind the apartment complex which is great. You can walk to old town Fréjus in about 30 mins. You can walk to Saint Raphael in 20 mins. We also took the bus to Saint Aygulf which is a town close by. The reception staff and manager are all very welcoming. It is set in a quiet location but close enough you can walk to the Port or beach for a great atmosphere. There are markets on most evenings and we were there for the fireworks. The reception is open at varying times but they were very good at communicating all the instructions to us. It is worth the cost for staying here as I found the accommodation really good for the money. The only feedback I would give would be for the apartment. They could think about including a unit in the bedroom for some storage for your smaller items like makeup or other toiletries. You could also have a couple of coffee tables in the living room for more comfort. There is underground parking if needed, a gym and a spa. It is only about 20mins walk to the train station at Saint Raphael or you could use Fréjus. The quicker trains go through Saint Raphael. A taxi from the station in Saint Raphael is about 13€.
