Hotel Du Portalet

We were booked into Hotel Portalet for one night, and after following our sat nav instructions for over an hour we gave up because the road works and one way streets wouldn't get us within 150 metres of the hotel. There are far easier hotels to find, particularly if you have travelled a long way and are tired. Maybe the hotel itself is fine, I wish we had been able to find out!

Unsuitable for sleeping, no AC or fan, extremly noisy. Specially when the cleaning truck passes by at 5 am. Good location. It has double glazing which helps a bit but ut gets extremly hot. In general, Avoid.

I really reccomend going to Hyeres at least once in your lifetime. And if you go there Hotel du Portalet is right in the centre of where it all happens. It's a small quite worn hotel just where the old town meets the new part. Hospitality an service is very good and so is the breakfast. So if you like it simple but still clean and nice this is a good choice for a small amount of money.
