Residence Nemea les Rives du Lac

Geographically very well located between Avignon and the island on Sorgue. The duplex apartment is nice and very quiet. Welcoming at the reception at the top. Only small downside: the table and chairs of Provencal style in wrought iron, it is pretty but terribly heavy and it leaves black traces on the floor.

We arrived on Sunday, no one at the reception, envelope with keys glued to the glass. No hot water in our accommodation, no pillows or duvet. Contrary to the description of the site, no wifi, unheated pool, and impossible to connect to charging stations for our vehicle (and no one to inform you) . I strongly advise against this resort, with owner occupiers, who despise vacation rentals..

We just stayed 2 weeks from 6 to 20/7 in this holiday village: What we liked: Cottage 4 people properly equipped (Air conditioning, TV, dishwasher, small terrace overlooking the lake for our accommodation) Shops nearby (5 minutes walk). Near Avignon ideal to go to festival off What we liked (much) less: WiFi not working, but according to the hosts we were the only ones concerned 🤪 The site is visibly occupied by permanent residents who welcome outside visitors by providing portal codes. The swimming pool, whose maximum depth is 1m10, is transformed into a place for entertaining outside friends. Nothing is respected, we eat and drink there without cleaning the garbage at Check-out. The smoking ban is never respected, under the benevolent eyes of the people responsible for the reception. There are no activities for children or adults. Presence of a pizza truck a few nights a week.
