Stephanie and Aurélien were two highlights! As well as Philippe in the tasting room. Extremely welcoming and helpful. The area and grounds are beautiful for walking, the wine is fantastic. Clean and quiet. A great time spent here, only regret is that we didn’t spend even longer here!

We went to the restaurant at this hotel. The food was good, the service was average and the sommelier showed little interest and was rude to our group of 7 customers.

The castle was built in 1880 in a neo-medieval style as a wine estate. Currently, a hotel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape is quite popular, which has a gastronomic restaurant and a winery. Overall, not bad, but definitely not for almost 500 euros a day! There are quite a few more interesting hotels nearby for less money!
