Mercure Cholet Centre

Very nice hotel, not very big and well located for visiting the region and especially the Puy du Fou park. The staff is really very, very nice and has a sense of hospitality. The breakfast is clean and of good quality. The suite is very pretty, room 318.

Well located. Right in the center. Quiet Well-maintained hotel. Decent bedding. Very kind gesture for the children. Breakfast in the dining room very decent. But over a 3-night stay - room not vacuumed (we had a suite: the crumbs from the second day when breakfast was taken in the room remained) - bathroom and sanitary facilities just clean (hair in the toilet upon arrival, and on the bed) - shower gel empty and never replaced - 1 small water per day for 3! That is really not enough - breakfast in the room should be avoided: many things were missing (cup, sugar, jam...) - very, very unprofessional welcome. So we understand that there are seasonal workers and interns whose motivation and experience in hospitality are not yet developed, but it is a 4-star hotel.... And we expect a minimum of service and professionalism (you do not cut in front of guests to rush into the elevator, room sheet in hand, without even saying hello or goodbye or anything at all, I have never seen that (to tell the truth, housekeeping staff in the guest elevator is unheard of in a 4-star hotel)). As for the arrival... very, very approximate. So we saw the difference on the 3rd day with a person who was truly professional and committed..., who seemed to be the manager.

Arrival at 10 p.m., welcomed by Christopher and his colleague, very smiling and happy to receive us; what a pleasure. Perfect, modern room; everything is new and a magnificent view of the church. Very nice hotel in the center, covered parking nearby. Thank you, Mr. Manager, also for the postcard with your little welcome note. We will return and will not fail to tell people about it.
