Les Jardins De l'Atlantique

Nothing to complain about, it was perfect, welcoming staff.

Very available reception. The rooms are spacious, the buffets are varied and hearty. The activities are well organized. A special mention to Eloïse, the activity leader, an excellent singer, with a great sense of humor and a very good actress. We will be back.

It started off very well... An idyllic location a few steps from the port and a pretty cove. Welcoming and helpful staff from the front desk to the housekeepers, including the entertainment team. Then the 1st meal arrived with a tempura hake that only had the name, it was so nearly inedible. I had to get another fillet because I couldn't cut the 1st one. Let's wait for the next day, gala dinner... same thing again, an overcooked sea bream fillet, a sauce that was almost non-existent on some plates, and frozen green beans that were impossible to cut because they weren't cooked... I'll spare you the undercooked bacon in big chunks that were impossible to chew on the 3rd night. We are very far from the fresh and local food mentioned in some reviews below (even if some appetizers were good, desserts were generally good, and the cheese platter was well-stocked and tasty). And the icing on the cake, a Wednesday night off-season, a dance party until 3 a.m. for a seminar even though the bar is supposed to close at 12:30 a.m. We were hesitant to return (despite the food not being up to par) for the overall services (comfortable and well-decorated rooms, nice entertainment, and top-notch staff, in addition to an ideal, quiet location and a satisfying breakfast with sweet and savory options). But since individual guests clearly count for less than companies (the night watchman told me we should have been warned and that he couldn't do anything), we will surely not be coming back... Too bad, we thought we had found a place to come back to once a year...
