Even though the quality of this hotel is remarkable, it does not deserve the label of excellent due to the breakfast buffet, which is very good except for one point that is a dealbreaker for me... the scrambled eggs "from a powder," unacceptable in a hotel of this classification!! It is so bad and unappetizing that it would be better not to offer it at all... you might say it is a detail, but it does not sit well! As a fan of eggs for breakfast, this was truly a disappointment... and I will not be returning... what a shame.

We trusr the Mercure brand, and this hotel is no exception. Indeed, the kind staff, the enjoyable restaurant and the well appointed rooms give fair value. Pleasing decor in our room, very good lighting in the bathroo, Accor's exemplary cleanliness standards, respectable sound proofing and excellent sleep comfort merit the four star rating. With a decent garage 50 yards away and a Speed Queen laundromat across a narrow street, it was an ideal location for us. Room rates are fair for a slightly older property in a small city. We would be glad to return.
