Balladins Poitiers Jauny Clan

We stayed at the hotel as a stopover on our way to Spain. The rooms were large and clean, we had connecting rooms to accomodate us. The hotel is an unusual layout and I didn't ike the fact that the corridors were open, like a motel, but that's just my personal preference. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Not bad for a stop over.

On on industrial site behind Futuroscope,is this East European looking building;lots of concrete and underground like corridors.Little dificult to find,best to use Satnav. Female staff were very friendly and helpful.When we went to our designated room,it had not been serviced. However the staff quickly found another room and gave us free coffee. Room was average. Just been updated as part of Balladins makeover .Very comfortable bed with effective room heating;very quiet. Good for an overnight stay. Would not use again due to depressing look of the place; could be better in summer as it has a small pool. Good cheap breakfast.
