Sejours & Affaires Poitiers Lamartine

The photos of the room do not match the reality. The room is poorly kept, the windows are dirty, there is no hairdryer and the towels are old, almost transparent. The room is small and there is no room even to open the bags. There's no coffee maker. The hotel is away from everything that is tourist. There are no good restaurants nearby. Stay near the train station. Parking is reasonable and the attendant at the front desk was kind.

Ensure the state of the place of entry and do not hesitate to take dated photos that will be authentic during the state of exit! Their principle is simple: do not return the entire deposit... abusive billing on the grounds that the cleaning is to be done again, avoid using the dishes of the studio but invest in your own dishes for stays that will extend a few months (painting on the cleanliness and alterations of kitchen equipment...). Random operation of the shower (no hot water many times), same (obviously on the water circuit is the same) on the water arriving at the tap, condition of the doubtful cupboards,... Corridors with frequent smelly fumes. Read between the lines (the small print is many and the number of pages is unfortunately off-putting when you have to sign!). And to top it all off threatens at the exit to have recourse to a bailiff in the absence of signature of what serves as a statement of state of play (know that in the circumstances the costs of bailiff would fall not to the tenant but to the structure...). In clear vigilance and foresight!

Being used to apart-hotels, this one is located close to the train station and an avenue. There is nothing around for dinner. The neighborhood is not welcoming. All night long the sound of freight trains. The reception is correct. The room is of correct size. The bedding is good. The TV is tiny. The bathroom is reminiscent of a retirement home. Renovation work must be undertaken quickly. For a night of transit it's good but nothing more.
