Domaine Du Normandoux

We have many fond memories of this place and have just tried to book again, only to find out that they have gone into liquidation. Hopefully they can be saved or reopened as it would be such a shame to never visit this beautiful place again.

Found this place on the off chance as the place originally booked was too far away. Really lovely and well kept, reception staff were friendly and helpful and spoke brilliant English. The room was spacious enough for two. Only downside to the room was where it’s opposite the goats there are quite a lot of flies. The breakfast was lovely maybe slightly steep as it is only a buffet breakfast. Made full use of the outdoor pool and spa facility. If you have children and see they are only allowed between 1500-1700 I wouldn’t worry as there was children around the pool all hours. Dinner was lovely just a slight shame they don’t have a English menu too just to make things slightly easier. Overall a really nice place and stay and would definitely visit again and recommend. Also a plus you can use the pool and spa facility the day of your check out for as long as you like too if you don’t need to leave till later.

Such a lovely hotel. The buildings were impressive and well restored. The location was peaceful and quiet. Facilities are excellent with an outdoor pool and indoor spa with a steam room. The restaurant staff were pleasant and our meal was very enjoyable.
