Apartment Hotel Konstanz

We booked this hotel and were first welcomed by a kind receptionist. Then an older woman, who seemed to be the manager, came and rudely doubled the agreed €15 fee for our dog because of its size. Her behavior was impolite and even verbally aggressive. We canceled our booking immediately. This place is not dog-friendly and does not respect the prices they communicate.

The City of Konstanz is a busy destination, so it was difficult to get a Hotel Room, but the local Tourism Office came to my rescue. The Hotel Konstanz is NOT easy to find if you are a stranger to the City, but all the citizens I asked for directions were very helpful. The check-in was easy with a very friendly young Lady. I booked a single room, which was very spacious, and the room with a large bed ( see photos ) was clean, including the bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding, there was a great selection of food items, and the young staff from Vietnam was very friendly ,efficient and accommodating. There is plenty of Parking on the property, and you are being charged for parking your car. I certainly will recommend staying here, I had no problems during my two nights stay. Keep up the good work.

The place is nice with its high ceilings and spacious rooms. All you would expect from a 3 star hotel with a good breakfast and clean facilities. Excellent to use as a hub if you’re cycling around the area. Only thing I personally didn’t like were the pillows - lacking substance
