We spent 3 nights at the "Hirschen" and would book it again anytime. The service, the food, the room, the outdoor area with the pool, everything was simply great!

Last stop on our European tour. Typical structure of the place, located in the center of St. Peter in Berthold Square, about 16 km from Freiburg. Frankly, I expected more. Location without an elevator with strong architectural barriers. The management is family-run. The wife is a wildcard who lacks empathy (she speaks English, but you must cater to her preferences to get information). The dining staff only speaks German, a disaster. Room assigned to us in the attic on the 2nd floor..!! New furnishings, spacious and sunny, no air conditioning. From the attic, all sorts of things came out in the evening (insects..etc..etc..). The restaurant: menu only in German, an odyssey for translation. Dinner hours by 8:30 PM..!!! Reserved parking. To be avoided.

The welcome and service were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast mega fine and rich. The rooms clean and with a good indoor climate
