I spent a weekend with my daughter, and we were satisfied. The room is spacious and quiet; the wifi is excellent, as is the breakfast, which is well-stocked with both sweet and savory options. The structure is a bit dated; however, it is well maintained, with kind and very welcoming staff. We dined at the hotel and were very satisfied with the dishes served. The spa is very nice and well-equipped, but unfortunately not everything was functioning, and I did not understand this considering the price paid, as only the outdoor sauna was operational, which is a significant drawback. The pool is open and comfortable. I enjoyed a massage; the masseur was very professional, and we were both satisfied. I recommend the establishment for a visit to Badenweiler.

We have been coming to the Privathotel Post for years and can recommend it with a clear conscience. The 4-star hotel rating is justified. Parking spaces and rentable garages are sufficiently available depending on occupancy. We would also like to highlight the always friendly reception upon arrival. Bathrobes and bath towels are provided in the rooms so that you do not have to bring them from home. The rooms are large and almost all of them have been modernized in recent years. Some of the bathrooms are already equipped with walk-in showers. Both single rooms and double rooms mostly have a balcony with an awning. The beds have good mattresses and there are enough clothes hangers in the closet. We have not been able to complain about the room cleaning to this day. The breakfast buffet is well-stocked and should offer something for every guest. Scrambled or fried eggs are freshly prepared upon request. There is freshly brewed coffee or coffee from the coffee machine, according to your own taste. Fresh fruit is also laid out daily. The breakfast service is always friendly and in a good mood, even early in the morning, and is also ready for a little chat. The dishes for full board, half board, or a la carte can all be called excellent without exception. We simply say "top-notch," which is also reflected in the reviews. The ingredients come for the most part from the region. The house specialty is the "Chateaubriand" carved at the table. At lunchtime or in the evening from 6 p.m., you are greeted warmly and shown to your table. The waiters work hand in hand and do not let themselves be rattled even when the restaurant is fully occupied, which of course also benefits the guests. They are very attentive and always keep an eye on the respective table to see if it is time to refill the wine or water, or if the plates are empty. You can tell that there is a friendly and good working atmosphere throughout the hotel just by the fact that in the 7 years we have been guests of the house, there has not been a single change of waiters. Since I have several years of hotel experience myself, one can only say hats off, and this in a time when people are desperately looking for hotel and catering staff. The hotel has a beautiful wellness area with 7 different saunas such as a Finnish parlor sauna, steam bath, aroma sauna, etc. The salt stone brine inhalation is pleasant for people with respiratory diseases. The thermal water of the pool comes from the Cassiopeia Therme opposite. The pool has an air bubbler as well as various massage jets. It is rarely overcrowded by hotel guests because you use the sauna and pool in rotation with the relaxation room. Early in the morning, you usually have the pool to yourself to swim a few laps. Badenweiler itself offers tours with the "Esel Mobil" to get to know the area, and it drives all the way up to the vineyards. A special kind of trip that can be a blast with several people. Highly recommended and can be inquired about at the reception. In the surrounding area of Badenweiler, there are various excursion options such as the small town of Staufen, which we always enjoy visiting. Those who prefer to go hiking or walking at a higher altitude can take the cable car up to the Belchen. A wonderful view in good weather. All in all, always a nice time that you can spend both in the hotel and in your free time.

Cozy hotel in "country house style" with its own parking spaces. Rooms are functionally furnished, large bathroom with shower, the bed (single room) could be wider, balcony with a view of the church and minibar. The breakfast room is divided into several areas, making it quieter, which is pleasant. The breakfast selection is very good; egg dishes such as scrambled eggs are prepared fresh. The spa area is well equipped; in the indoor pool, you can swim a few laps and relax with the massage jets. Particularly noteworthy are the staff: you can tell that here "team spirit" and "guest satisfaction" are not just words (THANK YOU). And the massages are highly recommended (it was very relaxing). Would love to come back.
