I have now had the pleasure of enjoying my vacation in the Green Forest for the sixth time in a row for another week. And it was super relaxing. Especially since I was able to enjoy a yoga class in the garden with Yvonne twice in the morning. The yoga offerings are somewhat overlooked on the homepage, but they are highly recommended. Mats, blocks, cushions, straps... everything is available on-site. Yvonne is also willing to come more often if needed. I noticed that there were many dogs in the hotel this time. Since I am allergic to dog hair, I would appreciate it if the four-legged friends did not stay in the restaurant. Anke Hoyer's parents have now completely withdrawn, and with the generational change, there will certainly be some changes in the foreseeable future. I wish Anke Hoyer and her team all the best and continued passion for their profession. Best wishes to the parents for the times that are now to come. We had wonderful days at the hotel, super friendly staff.... The food was very tasty for us..... a lot of variety. Very well-maintained facility. With a nice spa area... we would love to come back.

The Hotel Restaurant Grüner Wald in Lauterbad/Near Freudenstadt in the northern Black Forest proved to be a lucky escape for a short break: absolute peace, soothing ambience without excessive decorative kitsch, a wellness area that leaves nothing to be desired and on top an excellent restaurant. The secret that makes you arrive here immediately is the wonderful staff in all areas. We felt very comfortable.
