This is an ibis franchise so you know what you're in for. A relatively small room with a good bed and bathroom. There is also breakfast and a parking space.
The room was fine, nothing to complain about for the price, if I would recommend giving the bathrooms a little refurbishment, at the window the paint almost comes off the frame.

Spent three nights at the ibis Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, you can weigh the pros and cons. Maybe someone could use our experience.
I'll tell you right away, I think there's almost no "no" against it. But, in order. So, first, location. The location is just great, right at the train station. If you need to get anywhere, no problem.
The Old Town (Altstadt) can be reached from here by both the S-Bahn, just two stops, and the city bus number 20.
The room itself. Soundproofing was good; they lived in a room with windows facing the station, no announcements or trains could be heard. Well, yes, it's an ascetic environment, but if you only come to the room for the night, you don't pay much attention to it. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast is excellent, dense and varied.
The only thing I didn't like was the cost of parking. The hotel charges for the parking lot itself plus city tax, for a total of 21 Euros per day. But there is a way out - a couple hundred meters from the hotel, under the bridge,
there is parking at 5 Euros per day.

Right next to the train station, it is ideal for spending a night in the city. Downtown is within walking distance, public transport is at the foot of the building, which is also an advantage. As for the room, nothing to say, you expect that from an ibis, the bathroom is very cramped. The breakfast is complete and good.
