Pleasant hotel, had no problems storing our bikes in their garage. Welcome drink was unusual! Tea and coffee machine in foyer 24/7. No kettle in the room but coffee machine so at least we could get hot water for a cuppa Finally a shower where the water doesn’t leak all over the floor Breakfast was incredible!! Wide ranging for sure, in a nice large area. We had a room on road side with a balcony which was good as we like fresh air, a little traffic noise through the night but we could have closed the door and put the air con on. Would definitely stay again.

Let's just say the reception was fine. We had booked for 6 people (2 kids and 4 adults), but on arrival it turned out that this was not taken into account and that only a camp bed could be brought and then only for a child of up to 3 years old. For our child of 5 (though passed on) was actually no place to sleep while in the confirmation and reservation it is clearly indicated that children up to 12 can sleep in the parents' room. When you are faced with this at 9pm after a long journey from Italy, it was rather unpleasant. Nothing was really done from the hotel to arrange anything. The room was also old fashioned and really not superior (what we had booked). Breakfast consists of hard rolls and ready-made items, in addition the breakfast room is very uncozy and dirty. We're never coming here again.

We had to make an emergency stop in Karlsruhe during the heat wave in June because our dog was not coping well with the heat on the road. Immediately upon reaching the lobby, the staff member at the reception brought us ice packs and other things to cool down and took touching care of our dog and us, as did the other staff members. After the night in the well-air-conditioned hotel room, our dog was doing well again. All the employees in the house actually deserve 10 stars. The hotel is well and modernly equipped and furnished, the room nice and functional. The breakfast was very good. All in all, an unreservedly recommendable hotel. Many thanks for the truly great care and support.
