Hotel Petershof

I was booked into this hotel by my German friend at the last minute so had not had time to read the reviews. Excellent double room on the second floor with comfortable beds and good en-suite shower. Electric outside shutters if you wanted a really dark bedroom. Minibar which I did not use.Breakfast was excellent which wide range of food available from smoked salmon to fried eggs. Convenient hotel to bus routes in the the centre, a free bus pass is given as included in the tourist tax, bus frequent and on time. Thoroughly recommended.

Good hotel to stay and visit Konstanz. The breakfast had been satisfying.... not with big variety.... but nice... Unfortunately I found my glassware still dirty...😢 The room was clean but without shower gel or shampoo the overall feedback can’t be so great...

The hotel is located quite well in just few minutes walking to the river Rhine, crossing the river to HTWG (Hochschule) and further to the Altstadt. Parking however is not very convenient, narrow lanes make it difficult to stop for just offloading luggage. There is no lift in the hotel, so ensure not to have too much luggage and not to heavy bags, as rooms are even on the second floor. In summertime it could get quite warm in the rooms. No air conditioning available, keep the windows open at night. These are few of my tips for this hotel.
