Gasthaus zum Ochsen

Excellent hotel with beautifully renovated rooms. Dinner was simple but excellent. We had broken down and waiting for onward travel arrangements. The staff were amazing. Helpful, friendly and spoke English much better than my tourist German

If you would like to better understand the meaning of "service desert Germany", you should not miss this experience! There is hardly a better way to scare away guests! I at least cannot imagine being served even worse (or not at all 😂). Congratulations!

This is the second time we have made an overnight stop here. It was 35 deg and the floor standing fan in the room was welcome. This "gasthaus" has loads of character and a good resturant if you need a meal. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and clean. Why put an enormous TV in a small/medium sized room? My only complaint was that the system for getting wi-fi was complicated and was to be charged at 4€ per hour. I didn't bother. All our other stops on this holiday had free (and fast) wi-fi.
