Park Inn Mannheim

My wife and I stayed at this underwhelming hotel for two nights in July. The mattresses were a disaster, and the air conditioning had apparently been out of order for weeks. This is something that should really be mentioned on the hotel’s website. Instead, the only update highlights a new restaurant. To make matters worse, the main access road is currently closed due to construction. If you follow your navigation system, the hotel is practically impossible to reach unless you ignore it and official road signs. Staff lberall Not interested. Netter stay away.

We went with a bus of friends to stay in this hotel, the reception was just meagre, the room distribution went wrong, two couples got the same room which could not, it was sweltering hot and the air conditioning did not work. So it was puffing and blowing. During the three nights the rooms were not made up, anyway this was the least. The first evening the supper was appalling. In front of us there was a group and all the food was gone, we had to continue with the leftovers. The other days it was ok. We are definitely thinking of not staying in this hotel anymore. One be advised.

Unfortunately, not a good hotel. The room is not really clean. There were many small dead insects on the desk. The curtain had holes. The shower is not usable without flooding half the bathroom. At 35 degrees in June, the air conditioning units do not work. The only lights in the room are the night lights by the bed, so to get more light, one must open the curtains, allowing anyone on the restaurant terrace to look directly into the room. The room door was defective, so the door could not be closed from the outside. It was very annoying because I had to inform the reception whenever I wanted to go to my room until the technician resolved the issue. The breakfast buffet is also not really good. One star only because a receptionist was kind enough to give me a new room.
