Ambitions of the staff to provide a good service was there, but if you forget to mop the floors behind door and otherwise the cleanliness does not enjoy top priority, it becomes difficult. Too bad, because the older building has a lot of charm. However, we can praise the breakfast. That was really delicious with excellent bread.

The hotel is located above Heidelberg and is quite difficult to reach by car. Unfortunately, there is not enough parking. The rooms are old, but sufficient. The breakfast buffet was very good and sufficient.

When we drove to the hotel, my family and I were very happy about the beautiful location. As soon as we arrived in the room, however, we were disappointed. The room was rather moderately clean, the towels looked new but had stains. There was mold in the bathroom. In general, the entire room was very old and run-down, big stains on the furniture and the mattresses were very sagging. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The staff was not really friendly, rather indifferent. Really a pity as the hotel would have real potential with this stunning location. For one night it was okay, but for more then somewhere else.
