Arthotel ANA GOLD

Absolutely not recommended. No room service. No breakfast, rooms in a very needy condition. Shower needs urgent renovation. Shower fitting broken, tiles cracked, A shower door missing completely, mold in the shower tray. Floor in the room has gaps. Unkind welcome! Star is still far too much

The advertised swimming pool is not available (water drained). Breakfast is not available. The upper window does not close properly, so the room cools down quite quickly. Could be compensated by turning up the heater. Cleanliness/furnishing of the room is ok. Sauna is in operation.

The Arthotel Ana Gold is more like a youth hostel by default. In the Service there is only one person (help?) who also speaks hardly any German and is apparently not trained and therefore completely overwhelmed. In the first room assigned to us hung a large sign that the window was broken and could not be opened. We changed, but in the second one, obviously, the sink hadn't been cleaned properly longer, readable by the many hairs of other guests in the drain. The breakfast buffet was not refilled. However, the "high point" was the electronic payment process, which was stopped prematurely because it had been forgotten to charge the reader. After a long wait a second attempt, which (allegedly?) stopped again. Therefore I paid 274,-€ in cash. In the afternoon - I was meanwhile 3 hours by car from Augsburg - I received a phone call, the electronic payment process was successful after all and I should pick up the (cash) money paid too much. .... After repeated email contact with the management and long after submitting my account details, I was promised to transfer the money owed to me "immediately". That was a month ago. On my enquiries since then, I received only stalled excuses.... Now I've hired a lawyer.
