Das Wunsch-Hotel Murz

It is a nice, well-located, family-run establishment. There was something for everyone at the breakfast buffet. We were unable to take advantage of the hotel's other amenities due to our short stay and the very high temperatures. The good mattresses ensure a wonderful sleep. However, the unusually small bed size took some getting used to.

Very nice people at the hotel. Room good, food good, the whole team tries very hard to do everything right and to make everything wonderful. The swimming pool is a bit small for people who swim often, but it is acceptable nonetheless. Regarding the bar service: Since the bar itself is not staffed, in my opinion it would be better if there were a bell to make yourself known; currently, you have to keep going into the restaurant to find someone. The balconies of the rooms are lovely, but since summers are warmer now, solar-powered lighting would be nice; that way, you could continue reading outside at nightfall and enjoy the cooler night air.

The hotel is outdated, the gym is absolutely inadequate, the equipment is broken and old. The staff does not care about it and does not feel responsible… the natural swimming pool is an algae bath. The staff is very rude and stands out for their incompetence and irresponsibility. Tennis courts could only be rented through our own initiative; the tennis partner hotel had no idea and then simply decided not to respond.
