We were received in an unfriendly and dismissive manner at the reception. It seemed very disorganized. We were given a tiny attic room with a 1.60m wide bed and were very disappointed because a superior double room had been booked. Since we had arrived with two other couples, there was a desire for a shared table for breakfast. This was rebuffed with a curt response. Upon departure, the bill was presented to us without a word, and that was it. No inquiry as to how our stay was, and also no well wishes for the journey home. We have never experienced so much ignorance anywhere else before...! Only the lady from housekeeping wished us a safe trip, which we were very pleased about. Luckily, the hotel has a few employees who are polite.

$180 for a room in July is a steep price, considering the rooms without any air conditioning! A fan was found in the closet: how nice. Simply an imposition. On top of that, the room is only cleaned upon special request. To do this, you have to hang the sign on the door before 8 a.m. It is the same sign that shows "Do not disturb" on the back. So: either sleep in peacefully or get room cleaning! The next imposition. A real shame, because the hotel is otherwise structurally and location-wise really okay.

We were here once before a year ago and stayed in the main building. When booking, I only paid attention to the price and not the category. The price was the same as the previous year, only we ended up in the chapel. That meant walking across the hallways through the main building and then up with the elevator. To get to the underground parking, you had to change elevators. Our room was located on the busy street. Since there is no air conditioning in the building, we almost suffocated with the windows closed because of the noise. We were brought a fan. Historical preservation prohibits the installation of air conditioning. It's madness. Furthermore, the room was tiny (14 sqm); the breakfast and the service were OK. The underground parking at € 20.00 is much too expensive. Unfortunately, we will not consider this hotel again. The location was so great. A 15-minute walk to the old city center.
