I had a horrible experience. I booked the Big Room with the terrace and lake view for the 4 of us: It was NOT FRONTAL VIEW of the lake, the master bedroom was NOT SEPARATED from the kitchen. The decoration was absolutely horrible, nothing to do with the white kitchen that was on the picture. Was so hot at night that we had to sleep with the windows open, when it was -3 outside. The beds and pillows where extremly uncomfortable, so we almost didn't sleep, was a lot of dust in the room. When I went to complain, they where super rude, almost screaming at me telling me that it was the same category than the one that I booked, no solution, I felt that they where stealing and lying to us. To be honest, you ruined our trip.

Often disappointed by many restaurants, especially when there is a large menu, we decided to give San Marco in Hopfen am See a chance. What was on offer was amazing. Top quality, plentiful, beautifully presented. Great friendly service, view of the lake... What more could you want? Definitely a recommendation and not our last visit here!

Our room was large with a big modern bathroom. Large screen TV with Netflix. Comfortable bed. Nice view from our private balcony over the lake. The location is good, alongside the lake with a nice restaurant on the other side of the road. Good breakfast is an extra charge. Car parking is available on the street, free overnight, or you can pay to park in the hotel car park.
